A2LP is an experience I will forever be thankful for. Being a senior, I am sometimes like ” Why do I have to get up so early?” or ” oh no I have to lesson plan again.”, but seeing the smiles on the faces of my students is something beyond rewarding. It makes me incredibly happy because my students are very respectful of my time and they genuinely like to learn Spanish. Whenever my students say I am cool or they thank me for teaching them I never believe them because I feel they are so much cooler than I am. For that, I thank them. As a reminder to other teachers, we are a part of an amazing program and we’ve got this! Very few people can say that they taught foreign language to a bunch of adorable 3rd and 4th graders.!
