Missy Cosby<\/strong><\/p>\n

Postdoctoral Research Fellow<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Missy is a postdoctoral scholar in Educational Studies at the University of Michigan. She has a background in mathematics teaching at the high school level and is interested in the interplay between social identities and mathematics or STEM identities. Her research centers the study of STEM environments and how they promote or constrain learning, particularly for Black girls at the secondary and postsecondary levels.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Darrius Robinson<\/strong><\/p>\n

Graduate Student Research Assistant<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Darrius is a doctoral candidate in Mathematics Education at the University of Michigan. Darrius is interested in how people develop their sense of selves in relation to mathematics. As a project manager, Alyssa keeps our project’s progress and goals on track. She has a master’s degree in higher education and grounded her studies in issues of diversity and social justice in education, specializing in college access.<\/p>\n
