My name is Sky Duke, and I am a rising senior at Central Michigan University (CMU). At CMU, I am a member of the McNair and Honors programs. Additionally, I work as an Online Learning Intern at Mid Michigan College, where I assist with instructional design and digital accessibility. Although my major is in psychology, most of my work within the past few years has been focused on educational research. During that time, I have been involved in research on rural students, mentoring, and first-generation and low-income student success. I plan to pursue a graduate education in higher education following my graduation from CMU, with the goal of establishing a career as an educational researcher within an educational advocacy organization.
